What data do we hold and how is it stored?

A list of email addresses held on a secure third party mailing system connected to the website.

If you have attended one of the classes or workshops, the paper health questionnaire containing contact details  and any disclosed health information is kept in a locked filing cabinet at the registered address for yoga4now.

How long is data kept?

In line with personal insurance recommendations and current legal requirements, your data may be kept for up to 7 years after the date it is no longer in use for the purposes of our business relationship.  After this time, digital data will be deleted and paper data will be shredded.

Why do we hold this information?

Yoga4now has a legitimate reason to hold this data as you have either entered into a business contract by attending a class or other event, or you have requested information about such events.  This information is held in order to keep those who have registered an interest informed of our activitites,  and to contact those people if necessary regarding any changes to scheduled classes or events .

The health information is kept to enable classes and events to be planned appropriately to take into account individual needs and to avoid injury.

Your rights

You have the right to withdraw your consent to us holding and using your data for such communication at any time.  Please do not hesitate to contact me at to request I delete your details.
